I am sure you have heard of Hip Hop music. Well, I just recently learned of a new aerobics class being offered at the gym. It is a Hip Hop class. The first class I went to was packed. I was lucky to find a space in the back of the room. That was good for me though, I did not really want to be noticed as I learned this weight loss workout.

There is a lot of movement with a high energy weight loss Hip Hop routine. The warm up moves all around in different directions. It uses big movements like slides and hops and then slows down briefly for a stretch. The class itself uses an add-on format. The combinations are repeated frequently. I was able to catch on quickly and soon removed myself from the back of the room right into the crowd and the action. 

The sustained routines of a Hip Hop workout have kept my heart rate elevated resulting in my burning as many as 500 calories per class. Can you say "weight loss?"
